Well... Yesterday I went in to visit Belle as usual, and as usual she is standing up with her little paws on the cage.  I felt sorry for her....  Her daily routine had been interrupted and she kept looking at me with those sad eyes.  I sat down to have our daily conversation and told her that if she would crawl into her ball and crawl back into the cage when was done without me touching her that she could have her freedom for a while.  she agreed and crawled right into the ball without any help.  She had a great time roaming the house and I was feeling very proud that I could make her so happy and that I overcame my fear (somewhat).  It was as then time to put her back in her cage.......... I held the ball up to the cage for her to get out, but she wouldn't budge.....  After several minutes I started getting nervous but she wouldn't budge.  I asked her "what don't you understand about our agreement?"  As I continued getting more and more nervous she just sat there.  I was thinking what I should do first, call Morgan or the paramedics because I was sure I was going to have a heart attack.  How embarrassing to tell the paramedics that a little hamster threw you into cardiac arrest!!!    Just as I was going to call 911 I gave her one last chance and said if you want your freedom tomorrow, get in your ball.  She immediately crawled into her cage and looked at me like I was crazy.....  Guess I am.....
